Artist Assembly

A conversation format that brings artists, designers, and business leaders into curated environments to generate cultural insight, creative strategy, and connection.

Each Assembly is built around timely, provocative questions and shaped by the setting itself. Whether it’s a mountaintop, a design studio, or a public square, space becomes part of the story.

Not a panel. Not a networking event. A tool to help you connect the dots.

In business, creativity, and life.

How Environment Shapes Experience on Aspen Mountain

Aspen One

Gathered in our ski boots and helmets, we explored how our environment shapes our experiences and what happens when art enters the great outdoors. We discussed how unexpected encounters with art can spark new conversations and serve as a conduit for change. We also reflected on the unique energy of being out on the mountain—fully immersed in skiing—and how adding art and dialogue into the mix deepens connections within the greater community.

This was Studio MAXIMA’s 3rd Artist Assembly in Aspen and our 45th edition overall—a testament to the ongoing dialogue between art, place, and people.

Tools for the Future

Presq

In collaboration with Presq, we dove deep into a conversation about the future of design tools and the impact of increased accessibility on the creative landscape.

Presq is building innovative tools for both designers and non-designers, using 3D-printed footwear as a conduit for conversations around these advancements. At Studio MAXIMA, we share a vision with Presq: to empower creatives with the tools they need to succeed and push the boundaries of what’s possible. This Assembly gave us the space to explore the crossroads every designer encounters—collaboration challenges, tackling complex projects, and the drive to create work they’re genuinely proud of.

Art’s Role in Sustainability Efforts Around The World

Aspen Art Fair

Studio MAXIMA represented PEKOE LESLIE at the Aspen Art Fair in the historic Hotel Jerome in partnership with Soho House.

PILLARS IN ASPEN features found wood from the 2018 Lake Christine wildfire site between El Jebel and Basalt, Colorado. PEKOE LESLIE breathes new life into these elements of nature, which would otherwise be forgotten and left to wither due to human intervention and our own wrongdoings. This piece not only highlights the destructive impact of human activity on the environment but also serves as a testament to the potential for restoration and renewal. PILLARS IN ASPEN gives these materials a second chance at life and purpose, encouraging viewers to challenge themselves and reconsider the impact they want to leave on our planet.

Ideation / Iteration Sprint Engineered by Presq

Presq is a 3D printing design company focused on developing tools for non-designers to build out their creative brainchild. Founder and CEO, Adam Saleh wants to use 3D printing to localize manufacturing and provide people with all the tools they need to ideate, iterate, and actualize their ideas/

Together, MAXIMA and Presq co-led a design thinking sprint to introduce VR modeling, rapid ideation design thinking, a 3D printing demo, and ending with a facilitated discussion on how we can bring all their ideas to life using these innovative tools.
